Welcome to Ãå±±½ûµØ!


Our website serves as a virtual door into our Ãå±±½ûµØ community. We hope that this glimpse into our programs, student life, and community encourages you to visit us in person through one of the many opportunities offered by our Admissions Office.


Ãå±±½ûµØ, along with our predecessor St. John High School, has provided a quality college preparatory experience in Central New Hampshire for over 90 years. This year, Brady celebrates it's 60th Anniversary as a school as well as the 25th Anniversary of our Galloping Gobbler Road Race and the 10th Anniversary of our Annual Salute to our Veterans.


Our extensive Advanced Placement offerings, as well as fifteen college dual enrollment programs with three local colleges, offer all students an excellent foundation for future success. Our expanded  partnership with St. Anselm College allows Brady students to participate in science lab experiences on the St. Anselm campus.  We currently have a St. Anselm College professor teaching a college level Ethics course here on our campus.  We are also pleased to offer students the option of enrolling in career pathways coursework through the Concord Career Technical Center.  Students can find their passions and the small, caring community offers academic support for students needing extra help.


Our 25-year history of serving international populations creates a multicultural community, and our faith-based programs reinforce Christian values.

History

Ãå±±½ûµØ traces its roots to St. John’s High School which was established in 1930 on South State Street in Concord, New Hampshire.  Named for the Most Reverend Matthew F. Brady, D.D., Bishop of Manchester, 1945-1959, Ãå±±½ûµØ opened its doors in September 1963 as a Catholic co-educational school offering a college preparatory program in a supportive Christian atmosphere.


Continuing the traditions of St. John’s High School, Ãå±±½ûµØ carries on the motto, “fides, caritas, veritas”- translated as faith, charity, and truth- the backbone of the strong principles behind the development of the total person.  Our graduates are ready to face the world armed with a solid foundation of academic strength, a compassion for others, and a healthy respect for their religious beliefs, family and society.


Ãå±±½ûµØ is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and approved as a

non-public school by the State of New Hampshire Department of Education.

Students at Ãå±±½ûµØ are immersed in a community that cultivates individual growth in faith, learning and service. This growth starts in an environment that nurtures talents and supports struggle. Growth is also shown in each Brady student's pursuit of excellence in the classroom, by participation in athletics and co-curricular activities, in his or her social life, and through community service.


The vision of the Ãå±±½ûµØ Graduate at Graduation identifies specific skills and habits of mind that our community fosters.   These are not skills to measure, but rather habits and virtues that students will deepen throughout their lives. Graduates receiving diplomas from Ãå±±½ûµØ will have demonstrated personal growth through Deepening Faith, Engagement in Learning, and Commitment to Service.

Deepening Faith

 A Ãå±±½ûµØ graduate will deepen their knowledge and understanding of the Catholic Faith and will be able to: 

  • make decisions that are reflective of Christ's life and values respect the rich traditions and rituals of the Catholic Faith
  • recognize religious faith as a lifelong journey
  • acknowledge and celebrate the diversity found in other religions
  • recognize that the Catholic Faith believes that everyone is made in the image and likeness of God
  • develop a habit of reflection on experiences
  • show maturity and a willingness to take responsibility for his/her own actions
  • bear witness to our faith through community action, charitable endeavors, and caring relationships

Engagement in Learning

A Ãå±±½ûµØ graduate will experience growth in his or her learning and will be able to:

  • carefully observe, critically question, intelligently explore and respectfully accept a variety of possibilities
  • analyze and synthesize information and draw meaningful conclusions from various sources

Philosophy of Education

We are called to respect ourselves and our community both at and beyond Ãå±±½ûµØ.  We are particularly committed to supporting those who are the marginalized in society: the poor, the weak, and the disenfranchised.  Our faith-filled environment nurtures social consciousness and prepares students to become responsible global citizens capable of changing the world

Truth

We are called to seek truth courageously.  Our academic curriculum is infused with opportunities for active engagement in real world experiences to stimulate and shape critical thinking and positive action.  Truth is also gained through personal reflection and collaboration with others.  Teaching and learning encourages individual passions and creates opportunities for deepening our understanding of ourselves, our peers, the world, and God.
